Breaking new ground
When GreaterGood South Africa created SASIX in June 2006, we hoped to move corporate and individual donors from simple 'feel-good' giving to a more strategic and measured approach to tackling the very real challenges we face in South Africa. SASIX's extraordinary success since then has allowed us to break new ground in the development sphere by introducing socially responsible investment opportunities and taking the concept global.

You did it
What a day! Over 600 volunteers joined sports stars and other personalities at 47 projects from all over South Africa to make Do It Day 2008 one of our most successful yet. A massive 4,200 volunteer hours were generated on 19th September, helping to forge new connections between people and causes. Business mentors share knowledge and experience
In our Quick Poll on business mentoring last month, 60% of people said they would volunteer as a business mentor to share their knowledge and experience; 20% to contribute to enterprise development in South Africa; 13.3% to gain new skills; and 6.7% to be part of the success of a new business.
