Bringing learning to life
Minister of Education, Naledi Pandor's proposed Youth Pledge aims to help learners understand their rights and responsibilities. For many, the pledge will be just words. Good teachers know that children learn best by experiencing the world around them which is why Mr Ngqukuvana wanted to take his Grade 6 class to Parliament.

Your wishes for Trevor
Thanks for completing our budget poll: 78.6% of you wished for zero VAT on basic foodstuffs, half wished for better tax incentives for giving and another 50% wanted more money for education, policing and anti-crime initiatives. Some of you had other wishes:
