We asked our Do It Day volunteers to complete an online survey to share their experience of the day to help us take this inspiring initiative to even greater heights in years to come.

The majority of comments from the 90 volunteers who responded to the survey were positive in nature. Those recommending areas for improvement have been noted and are being incorporated into GreaterGood’s planning for 2010.

• GreaterGood needs to pre-assess projects for real need
• Materials must be available on location when volunteers arrive
• Make more resources available for projects
• Volunteers need to know who their contact person is on site
• Volunteers want contact with project staff and beneficiaries
• Have it on a weekend so more people can get involved
