Our Mission Statement

The mission of the organisation is to be a unified, effective network and support organisation that leads and coordinates initiatives towards the prevention and eradication of all forms of violence against women in the Western Cape.

About Us

The primary purpose of the Western Cape Network on Violence Against Women is to strive towards the prevention and eradication of all forms of violence against women, and to support service delivery to survivors of violence against women, especially in the province. This translates to support for and co-ordination of, counselling and shelter services as well as secondary services including training, research, advocacy and public education - to create a collective response to violence against women.
