Our Mission Statement

The organisation exists to heal and improve the victims and survivors of gender based violence and abuse as well as help create a crime free and non-abusive environment through counseling, advocacy, lobbying, legal representation, referrals, support and training.

About Us

The primary objective of the organisation is to address the needs of the victims of domestic or gender based violence in rural communities, especially women and children, by way of counseling, training, referrals and after care.

Goals and Objectives

• To offer good quality counseling to victims/survivors afflicted by gender based violence in historically disadvantaged areas
• To create awareness and educate the community at large about human rights through workshops, dialogues and campaigns
• To network with local, provincial, national as well as international organisations with similar objectives for increased sharing of information and better service delivery to the society
• To support initiation and development of other community development activities
• To constantly improve services through innovation based on thorough research and careful development analysis
• To contribute positively in the countrys economic growth by preventing and eradicating unlawful actions whist creating a crime free and non-abusive environment; through encouraging and training community members, irrespective of gender, about volunteering
